Riley Hedberg and Jonah Smith each won two individual events Saturday to help McHenry win Woodstock North's Mary Landa Invite.
The Warriors topped the eight-team field with 603 points. Woodstock North co-op finished second with 545 points, and Cary-Grove co-op took third with 540 points.
Hedberg won the junior 50-yard freestyle in 22.43 and took first in the junior 100 freestyle (49.26). Smith captured the top spot in the senior 50 freestyle (22.27) and 100 freestyle (50.63).
Hedberg and Smith teamed up with Luke Rose and Tyler Hemphill to win the 200 medley relay (1:44.76), and with Dylan Qualls and Hemphill to win the 200 free relay (1:31.43).
Hemphill also took first in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.74).
Woodstock North co-op's Quinton Cynor set meet records in the freshmen 50 freestyle (22.72) and freshmen 100 freestyle (48.90). Cynor also worked with Nick Phillips, Gunter Dunnett and Aiden Teuber to help Woodstock set the meet record in the fresh/soph 200 medley relay (1:44.64). Cynor, Logan Lorr, Dunnett and Phillips combined to win the fresh/soph 400 free relay (3:34.83).
Phillips also won the sophomore 100 freestyle (53.42) and 100 backstroke (58.43). Teuber claimed first in the sophomore 50 free (23.31) and helped the fresh/soph 200 free relay (1:42.80) to first place along with Alexander Rishling, Jameson Teuber and Lorr.
Lorr won the 500 freestyle in 5:16.69.
Don Anderson Invite: At Arlington Heights, Jacobs co-op compiled 483 points to finish in second place, trailing only host Hersey's 506 points.
Harold Ogaban took home individual titles in the 200 freestyle (1:49.55), and he also narrowly edged teammate Alec Orndahl to win the 100 backstroke (55.18).
Ogaban also swam with Reid Coyle, Eric Boysen and Elijah Stuart to win the 400 freestyle relay (3:21.39). Ogaban, Alexander Le, Boysen and Stuart took second in the 200 medley relay (1:42.32).
Le, Coyle, Caden Waddell and Nathaniel and Herrera combined to win the 200 freestyle relay (1:34.10).
Le captured first in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.11), and Stuart grabbed second in the 50 freestyle (22.70) and 100 freestyle (49.83). Boysen and Vince Chiappetta took second in the 200 IM (2:06.14) and 500 freestyle (5:05.25), respectively.
