High school girls bowling: Huntley edges Jacobs by nine pins

The Huntley girls bowling team edged Jacobs, 2,255-2,246, at Bowlero Bowl in Algonquin on Tuesday.

Senior Kaitlyn Clutter led the Red Raiders with a 470 series, including a team-high game of 173. Angelica Jacquez had a 468 series, followed by Abby Matula (442), Gen Porsche (411), Cassie Lugo (406), Dani Szmergalski (392) and Mary Boffa (384).

Brianna Schmidt had both the high series (556) and high game (204) for the Golden Eagles. Mackenzie Forner had a 498 series, Amanda Vasica had a 470, Alison Gerhardt had a 389, Veronica Perez had a 384, Stacy Kuhn had a 359, Kaitlyn Holtz had a 353, and Mia Carrie had a 350.
