Hampshire enters the power rankings this week on a three-game winning streak, and Johnsburg keeps fighting despite mounting injuries.

1. McHenry (22-1): The Warriors beat Crystal Lake Central, 85-46, to move one win away from claiming their first Fox Valley Conference championship. Four Warriors scored in double figures, led by Aannah Interrante with 28 points and six 3s. McHenry's 22 victories tie a program record.
2. Dundee-Crown (13-8): The Chargers earned wins over Crystal Lake South, 44-30, and Prairie Ridge, 49-37, and are second in the FVC at 8-4. Freshman guard Gianine Boado tallied a career-best 20 points against the Wolves, including 15 in the second half.
3. Hampshire (11-11): The Whip-Purs have won three straight and six of their last eight. Kelby Bannerman (13 points) and Lauren Herrmann (12 points) both scored in double figures in their team's 43-32 win over Crystal Lake Central.
4. Cary-Grove (13-9): The Trojans suffered a 42-29 setback to Huntley that all but knocked them out of the FVC race for first. Before that, C-G defeated Crystal Lake Central, 51-40, and Dundee-Crown, 41-38. Katie Sowa leads the Trojans with 14.1 points a game, to go with 6.3 rebounds.
5. Johnsburg (15-10): The Skyhawks continue to fight despite mounting injuries and lead the KRC with an 8-1 record. Last week, Johnsburg beat Woodstock and Woodstock North. Coach Ashley Arff and the Skyhawks are hoping to get junior Morgan Madsen (knee) back healthy at some point.
