FBI investigates Richmond bank robbery

Suspect did not attempt to take over bank, FBI agent says

RICHMOND – A person robbed a bank Friday morning in Richmond, an FBI agent confirmed.

The robbery occurred about 11:15 a.m. Friday at the McHenry Savings Bank branch, 10520 Main St., Richmond, FBI Special Agent Garrett Croon said in an email.
Croon said the suspect, a man in his late 20s with a thin build, did not attempt to take over the bank. Croon did not provide any further details about the incident.
Police could not provide more information.
