Fifty-four purchases from April 2013 to August 2017 were flagged for questioning by the fire district's attorney Stephen DiNolfo, but former Fire Chief Ken Caudle went on Family Medical Leave Act 5 days after he was asked to answer questions about the purchases.

Fire Chief Scott Ravagnie said he did not know why Caudle bought the estimated $7,000 robot, drone, estimated $14,000 engraver, a tint meter and other items questioned.
