A former Huntley Fire Protection District chief who resigned under a cloud of suspicion in 2017 was caught doing work for a local police department while on the clock at the fire district, according to documents produced by the fire district's internal investigation.

The following document is a transcript of an interrogation interview with the district's attorney Stephen DiNolfo and former Fire Chief Ken Caudle on Sept. 6, 2017.

The documents highlight questionable purchases Caudle made and how to continued to work as a part-time police officer despite a clause in his chief contract directing him to quit.
