The National Weather Service warned residents of McHenry County, and those across northern Illinois, that more snow is expected from Saturday into mid-Sunday.

The service issued a winter weather advisory Saturday afternoon that will be in effect from 12 a.m. Saturday to 12 p.m. Sunday. Two to five inches are expected in the McHenry County area.
