Letters to the Editor

Letter: Editorial Board should resign

To the Editor:

Regarding your editorial about President Donald Trump being unfit for office, here’s a better idea. How about you and your Editorial Board resigning?

Reasons: gross incompetence, extreme liberal bias and complete lack of objectivity. You are “in the tank” for anything leaning left, and are nothing more than another media outlet for the Democratic Party.

The stories you write or publish from other sources and the letters that you print almost always lean left. Where are the rebuttals of your editorial?

I know that they were submitted, but except for an extremely short one on Jan. 30, I haven’t seen any.

You published about the 200 people who attended the Women’s March in Chicago.

OK, so where are the stories about the people who went to Washington for the March for Life, or about the almost 2,000 McHenry County people who signed the Pro Life ad in your paper?

In fact, Trump has had a great first year – have you looked at your 401(k) lately?

The economy is roaring back at a faster pace not seen under President Barack Obama. Taxes will be reduced for about 90 percent of taxpayers. He repealed the individual mandate, regulations are being reversed at an astounding rate, getting government off our backs and allowing businesses to do business. He has strengthened the military and reduced the unemployment rates – total employment is up – and he has gained respect around the world.

Where are the stories of the real Russia collusion by the Democrats and Hillary Clinton campaign, Uranium, Bill’s $0.5 million speech in Moscow, questionable contributions to the Clinton Foundation, the Democratic National Committee cooking the books for Clinton, her pass by the FBI before they interviewed her about 30,000 lost emails and private server. How about her enabling Bill on his sexual exploits, or not firing a known sexual harasser on her 2008 campaign staff?

Good grief, get real or get out.
