Chicago White Sox drop spring opener to Los Angeles Dodgers

Dylan Covey got the start for the White Sox in their spring training opener and surrendered a home run to Justin Turner in the first inning of a 13-5 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday in Phoenix.

Tim Anderson homered for the Sox.

C.C. Lee gave up three earned runs in an inning of relief but still came away with the win. Turner, Enrique Hernandez, Matt Kemp and Logan Forsythe each homered for the Dodgers.
