To the Editor:
I was saddened to hear of the closing of Joseph’s Marketplace in Crystal Lake. It has been a pillar in the community, and many have benefited from the staff’s generosity. My memory especially is when it had a roof problem and the food pantry in Crystal Lake became Joseph’s Marketplace. “Thank you, Joseph’s!”
I would like to suggest it consider coming to Huntley. It is a growing area and has many seniors in Sun City who would love to have the store, and especially its kitchen, deli and bakery, which is “the best.”
I live in Huntley and still would go back to Joseph’s to shop. Huntley needs someone like Joseph’s Marketplace, as does the Huntley community.
