To the Editor:
This paper, as well as every other print and broadcast media in the state, is letting the voters down.
We have been inundated with ads by governor hopefuls who say they will improve health care, education and other social services.
Each of the programs costs money.
This state is broke.
The candidates don’t say how those programs will be paid for and what they will do to balance the budget.
The media should be pressuring all candidates from both parties how they will implement their proposals as well as getting the budget under control.
