WOODSTOCK – A local staffing agency has put in the winning bid for Woodstock School District 200’s administration building.
MBI Staffing LLC submitted a bid for the building at 227 W. Judd St. and will pay the district $490,000 for the property if the District 200 board approves the agreement, according to district documents.
Late last year, the board decided to sell the building – which was used for office space – to cut costs. The board will vote on the real estate agreement at its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Woodstock High School, 501 W. South St.
MBI Staffing has another location at 2525 Harding Lane, Woodstock. It offers long-term and contract help, management services and information technology and office jobs, according to its website.
The district received two bids on the property, one from MBI and another from Wand Lee Wombacher, a local law firm. MBI will receive the contract because it had the highest bid, according to district documents. MBI Staffing officials were not available for comment Monday.
