Harvard man sentenced to jail, probation for 3rd DUI

A 48-year-old man remained Thursday evening at the McHenry County Jail after pleading guilty to aggravated driving under the influence.

Kurtis J. Brennan of the 600 block of Lincoln Street, Harvard, was sentenced Tuesday to serve 180 days in jail and 2½ years of probation for what police said is his third DUI.

Brennan was driving a white Hyundai Sonata while under the influence of alcohol July 17, 2016, according to a criminal complaint filed in McHenry County court.

Brennan had a previous DUI conviction at the time, the complaint stated.
