Letters to the Editor

Letter: Fixing some international problems

To the Editor:

Many accept blindly the nonsense that China and Russia are a threat to the American way of life. Is the American way of life bombing people back to the stone age?

Or is it tossing its downtrodden onto the rubble heap? Or one which removes health and environmental safeguards only to fatten corporate earnings?

The U.S. has abandoned Alexander Hamilton’s economic design, which developed America into the world’s greatest agro-industrial power.

Tossing aside protectionism, national banking, and scientific and technological progress, our government has adopted the British system of free trade, central banking and enforced backwardness, bringing the world’s greatest creditor nation into one hopelessly bankrupt.

The irony is that China and Russia have adopted the Hamiltonian system, bringing potential development across Eurasia and Africa (estimates are 20X greater than the economic impact of the Marshall Plan after WWII).

This has created hysteria amongst the Anglo-American overlords, thus the relentless attacks on Trump, the evidence lacking accusations of Russia-backed poisonings in England and chemical attacks in Syria, and the constant threat of Chinese influence.

Trump’s campaign promise of better relations with Russia and China has not materialized, due to the neocon resurrection in the administration, weaklings in Congress, plus his own shooting himself in the foot.

There are cold warriors who would rather plunge the world into nuclear holocaust than accept the Chinese President’s offer to President Obama to join the One Belt One Road Initiative.

P.S. I did not vote for Donald or Hillary.
