A New York-based company has acquired the Shops at Fox River.
Times Equities Inc. bought the retail center at Route 31 and Running Brook Farm Boulevard for $32 million earlier this month. Mid-American Real Estate Corp. arranged the deal, according to the agency.
The 340,849-square-foot complex straddles McHenry and Johnsburg. It includes Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bed Bath and Beyond, Old Navy, Ulta Beauty and T.J. Maxx.
The store was constructed in 2007 and has six vacancies. The center’s Best Buy shut down in October.
Times Equities owns about 31.1 million square feet of residential, industrial, office and retail property, including more than 4,000 multifamily apartment units, according to its website.
Times Equities owns property in 30 states, five Canadian provinces, Germany, the Netherlands and Anguilla, a British overseas territory in the Caribbean.
Other Illinois properties include an LA Fitness building in Joliet, The Shoppes at Belford Park on Cicero Avenue in Belford Park and a shopping plaza at 4700 Kimball Ave. in Chicago, according to its website.
