To the Editor:
Coming home Sunday evening on Lucas Road west of 47, I hit a pothole so hard it knocked the inner tire bead off the wheel, deflating the tire. Being 1/4 miles from home, and it raining, I decided to make it home.
Now, I need to replace the tire, costing me $200. I called the township to file a complaint and found out this section of road belongs to Woodstock. It's the middle of June and this hasn't been taken care of yet. If this were a township road, I'm pretty sure it would have been taken care of already.
My wife and I are both retired and $200 at this time hurts our pocketbook. What is the mayor going to do about this?
