Letters to the Editor

Letter: More about milk

To the Editor:

Last week, I read a letter and it mentioned that milk was “nature’s most perfect food.”

That is 100 percent correct ... if you are a calf. No other species drinks the milk of another species. Cow’s milk is suited to the nutritional needs of calves, who have four stomachs and gain hundreds of pounds in a matter of months.

So if you’re not a baby cow, it’s time to accept the truth: “If she’s not your mom, it’s not your milk.”
