Centegra Health System will partner with Power Wellness for the management of day-to-day operations at Centegra Health Bridge fitness centers in Crystal Lake and Huntley.
“Fitness centers are an integral part of our community wellness strategy,” said Tiffanie Young, vice president of operations, health and wellness. “By partnering with an industry leader, we will elevate the experience for our members and associates.”
Power Wellness creates medically integrated programs that help members improve their overall well-being. The organization also has an established reputation for service excellence and member retention. Power Wellness operates more than 30 medically integrated fitness centers, including seven in northern Illinois, and serves more than 100,000 members.
As part of this management change, all Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center associates will become employees of Power Wellness and continue to have access to competitive industry benefits, including a 401k plan and career growth opportunities.
The transition to Power Wellness will take place Aug. 16. Centegra Health System will continue to own the fitness centers and will oversee decisions regarding them.
“Our members and associates will benefit from the Power Wellness team’s experience,” Young said. “Their expertise will help us fulfill our mission to inspire and engage our community members in their health and wellness.”
