Sunshine and history were both in abundance Sunday afternoon downtown Union as the McHenry County Historical Society and Museum held its annual summer event, the Heritage Fair.
Guests enjoyed a bake sale and cake walk, antique auction, white elephant sale, car show and many other offerings along Main Street throughout the day.
Musical entertainment was provided by the Clef Hangers barbershop quartet and magicians Freddy Fredricks and Kevin Sarwick delighted kids and adults alike.
The Heritage Fair is held on the second Sunday in July. For information, visit gothistoryorg.
