Family Health clinic gets grant funding

The Family Health Partnership Clinic is pleased to announce it has received a $65,000 grant from the United Way of Greater McHenry County on July 1. These funds will support health care for the uninsured in McHenry County.

The Family Health Partnership Clinic provides high-quality health care to the McHenry County area. The clinic does not receive state or federal funds and is supported by the community.

“United Way dollars are critical to serving our community. This generous grant will assist many people who might otherwise go without medical care,” Family Health Partnership Clinic Executive Director Suzanne Hoban said.

The United Way of Greater McHenry County awards annual grants to 30 local nonprofit partners by an application and review process. Funding requests are reviewed by a panel of community members each spring and awarded in July.
