Crystal Lake Public Library offering programs for young children

The Crystal Lake Public Library is offering a variety of story times for children and their guardians.

• Story and Swim with Dolphin Swim Club will meet from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at Dolphin Swim Club, 825 Munshaw Lane, Crystal Lake. The free program is geared toward children from birth to age 6 with their guardian. Guests should come dressed to swim or change at the facility. Children are required to have a grown-up in the pool with them. A lifeguard will be on duty.

• Second Saturday Sensory Storytime will meet at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at the library. The program is geared toward children with special needs from ages 3 to 8 with their guardian. Children are engaged through movement, music, stories and hands-on activities. Siblings are welcome.
