CARY MAIN STREET FEST, noon to 10 p.m. Sept. 15 and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 16, downtown Cary, 108 W. Main St., Cary. A two-day festival with a full lineup of live music, family entertainment, family stage, food from local restaurants, craft beer, vendor booths and more. Hosted by the Cary-Grove Chamber of Commerce. FISHING DERBY, 9 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 15, Jaycee Park, Silver Lake Road at Algonquin Road, Cary. Bait your friends and family with a morning of fishing fun at the Happy Trails Fishing Derby offered by the Cary Park District. All ages are invited. Poles, tackle and bait provided or bring your own. New anglers receive a quick fishing lesson. Raffle prizes, goody bags and fishing information included. WOODSTOCK HARVEST FEST & FAIR IN THE SQUARE 2018, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 16, on the Square, Woodstock. Bluegrass in the Square, presented by Off Square Music, will feature musical performances by The Bluegrass Express; The Briar Pickers and The Special Consensus ($10 donation requested). Fair in the Square portion of Harvest Fest will feature craft vendors from throughout the Midwest offering a wide variety of handmade craft items for sale.
