Men's college soccer: McHenry County College beats Kishwaukee

The McHenry County College men's soccer team defeated Kishwaukee College, 4-3, on Thursday in Malta.

Woodstock graduate Josue Carreno was taken down in the penalty area with 1:08 to play and buried the game-winning penalty kick for the Scots (3-5). Miguel Carreno (Woodstock) scored the first goal for MCC in the first half before Kishwaukee scored the next three.

Miguel Carreno added his second goal in the second half, and Zach Reitz (Prairie Ridge) tied the game with 10 minutes remaining. Jeff Adamson (McHenry West) made seven saves in the win. Reitz added an assist.
