Letter: Investigate real corruption

To the Editor:

Who would kill the messenger? All the corrupt, those are enjoying the benefits and lifestyle of corruption.

Representing the frustration of thousands, McHenry Township Trustee Bob Anderson, in response to all residents has been seeking a solution to corruption. Corruption has been openly protected by the hundreds of thousands enjoying its benefits with millions of frustrating residents, not being able to correct the situation.

In a call to stop corruption supported by millions of residents, Anderson and others have tried to expose alleged corruption in McHenry County.

While the present township road district appears to be honest, professional, above reproach and doing a good job, the position historically and allegedly has been one of questionable operation, and of doing political favors for others, at the expense of the taxpayers.

Consolidation may not be the answer, as you still would have all the same political players; where allegedly, all the elected and appointed township officials should be investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Everyone should open their eyes and recognize that corruption is the problem, and not the township, county and state officials who should be investigated.

The honest, intelligent and good residents who “follow the golden rule” should step forward to support good government against the patronage soldiers of political organizations financed by alleged, prejudicial and predatory contributors seeking to capture the governor’s office, the vote of the Legislature and promote corruption against our good residents. Wake up, my fellow residents!
