Letters to the Editor

Letter: Letters are right propaganda

To the Editor:

In their Sept. 23 letters, Mr. Louis and Ms. Klein castigate Democrats and accuse them of trying to derail the nomination and destroy the life of Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

I wonder how Ms. Klein and Mr. Louis know what happened 36 years ago. I don’t, so I will wait until Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford testify before I make a judgment.

Had Mr. Louis and Ms. Klein even once mentioned the fact that because Republicans refused to hold hearings on President Barack Obama’s nomination of Judge Merrick Garland that resulted in a vacancy on the court for 14 months, their letters would not read like a rehash of the usual far-right propaganda.
