McHenry library hosting annual used book sale

The Friends of the McHenry Public Library District is getting ready for the annual used book sale Saturday and Sunday in the library’s warehouse. Visitors are asked to park in the far northwest area of the parking lot and use Entrance B.

The sale will be from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. There will be a special pre-sale for members of the group from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

If patrons check out an item from the library now until the book sale, they will receive a coupon for $1 off a $6 purchase Saturday. Bags Sunday will sell for $5 each.

The book sale will feature hundreds of hardcover and paperback books, movies, music and more at bargain prices. Patrons will be charged a $10 fee to bring in a scanner at any sale.
