Letter: Vote no on road district consolidation

To the Editor:

Everyone who lives within the McHenry Township boundaries, including incorporated municipalities with road connections and road maintenance requirements involving township direction, should not vote for removing the road district and its well-established functionality from McHenry Township. We get our money’s worth with a qualified engineer, Jim Condon, in charge. I’m voting no on the referendum.

I’m very pleased that Pamela Althoff has endorsed retired Col. Craig Wilcox for state senator because he is much more qualified to execute those responsibilities than his opposition because of his senior military staff background. Wilcox has had multilevel responsibilities involving cost-effective decision-making at the highest levels in the U.S. Air Force.

He acquired the ability to communicate with contemporaries competing for the same military dollar and will do the same for the 32nd Senate District and our tax dollars.

I watched every minute of the Judge Brett Kavanaugh crucifixion attempt. It defined collusion by Democrats in no uncertain terms.
