Police and fire officials responded about 11:40 a.m. Sunday to the scene of the crash at East South Street and South Seminary Avenue, Woodstock.

The driver of a plumbing truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a Sunday morning crash, a Woodstock fire official said Monday.

Capt. Karen Bush said first responders were called about 11:40 a.m. Sunday to the scene of the crash at East South Street and South Seminary Avenue.

The crash occurred when a box truck advertising Advantage Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning tried to drive under a railroad bridge.

It appears the truck was too tall to fit, Bush said.

The road was shut down while police investigated the incident, she said.

The Woodstock Police Department was not available to comment Monday.
