A garage fire Monday morning in Woodstock caused about $15,000 in damage but did not spread to an adjoining home, Woodstock Fire/Rescue District Capt. Scott Nieman said.
About 8:30 a.m., crews responded to a reported fire in the 200 block of Joseph Street. Nieman said it took about
10 minutes to get the fire under control. The homeowner was home at the time of the fire, but there were no vehicles in the garage, Nieman said.
Woodstock crews were the only responders to the incident, Nieman said.
No injuries were reported.
A cause for the fire still is under investigation, but Nieman said it is not believed to be suspicious.
