Woodstock Fire/Rescue District first responders took two minors to the hospital Monday after a rollover crash, a fire official said.
Fire personnel responded to the crash about 7:10 a.m. Monday on Vermont Road north of Collins Road and west of Woodstock, Capt. Scott Nieman said. The crew had to free both the driver and passenger from the car, which landed upside down.
Both were minors. They were not seriously injured but were taken to Northwestern Medicine Woodstock Hospital for evaluation, Nieman said.
The crash was likely caused by slick road conditions, he said.
Vermont Road was shut down for about 20 minutes after the incident.
