McHenry County Sheriff's Office asks wanted man to be its valentine

The McHenry County Sheriff's Office tried to lure its No. 2 most wanted person with a valentine Thursday.

Dakotah R. Beeter is wanted for forgery, according to a sheriff's office Facebook post that included an altered photo of the 24-year-old with cartoon hearts and a script that read "Will you be our valentine?"

"Dakotah R. Beeter, we want you to be our valentine!" the sheriff's office posted. "Our correctional officers are anxiously awaiting your arrival and have made you a special Valentine's Day tray."

Beside Beeter's photo was another image – a jail lunch tray with two slices of bread and a chocolate brownie cut into the shape of hearts.

Beeter is last known to have lived in the 2900 block of West Lincoln Road, McHenry, according to the sheriff's office's website.

Anyone who comes in contact with him should not try to apprehend him, according to the website.
