High school sports roundup for Monday, March 11

Katelyn Skibinski scored twice in the first 14 minutes to lead Dundee-Crown past Streamwood, 3-1, in their nonconference girls soccer game Monday at Streamwood.

Berkley Mensik assisted on Skibinski’s first goal, then scored the Chargers’ third goal off Genny Rendl’s assist in the 34th minute.

Diana Santillan made three saves for D-C (1-0).

Wauconda 1, Crystal Lake Central 0: At Wauconda, the Tigers (0-1) were unable to score against a Bulldogs team that returns eight starters from a team that lost in a Class 2A sectional final last year.

Wauconda scored with 33:19 remaining in the second half.
