Scorched Earth Brewing Company will be hosting the fourth annual Scorched Earth Day Festival, featuring craft beer, live music and entertainment.
The event will take place from 3 to 10 p.m. on April 26 and 27.
A full beer lineup, including sour releases and specialty beers, will be served.
Original, live music featuring national talent of all genres will play throughout the days and will feature local favorites including Jim and Justin from Modern Day Romeos, Hello Weekend and more.
Food vendors will be serving throughout the festival, featuring Toasty Cheese, Your Sister’s Tomato Wood Fired Pizza, BBQ King and Toasty Taco.
New this year is ax throwing on Saturday.
“We are excited to bring this two-day festival to the community; the last three years have been a lot of fun for families to get out and enjoy the start of the spring season,” co-owner Jennifer Dallas said.
The all-ages festival will be held in the parking lot of Scorched Earth Brewing Co at 203 Berg St. in Algonquin, just west of downtown. For attendees older than 18, general admission is $10 pre-sale or $15 at the door.
General admission and VIP tickets are available prior to the event in the Scorched Earth taproom.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County.
Scorched Earth Brewing Co. recently was recognized as the best business for food, entertainment and hospitality by the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce.
