College baseball: McHenry County College's Wolski homers twice, drives in 7 against St. Xavier U. JV

Crystal Lake South graduate Nick Wolski drove in seven runs Friday as McHenry County College blasted St. Xavier University's JV team, 25-0, in seven innings in Chicago.

Wolski hit two home runs, including a grand slam, and also also doubled. Ryan Parquette (Crystal Lake South) and Jeff Heinrich (Huntley) each added homers. Parquette also doubled and scored twice, and Heinrich was 3 for 3 with a double, four runs scored and three RBIs.

Ryan McGorrian (Jacobs) supplied the Scots (20-6) with four hits and four RBIs, while Owen Patzin (McHenry) and Nolan Unger both had two RBIs.

MCC used seven pitchers in the shutout. The Scots allowed five hits and struck out 10.
