Police search for man missing since early May

Fox Lake police are searching for a man who has been missing since May 8.

David M. Gilenna, 57, of the zero to 100 block of Jamaica Colony in Fox Lake, was reported missing after his family hadn’t been able to contact him for more than a week, according to a news release from Fox Lake police.

Police on Tuesday requested the assistance of fire personnel to use sonar equipment to check the Dunns Lake water inlet, which is part of the Chain O’ Lakes, in case Gilenna fell into the water.

Gilenna is described as 5-foot, 6-inches tall and about 125 pounds with has brown hair and brown eyes, according to the release. Anyone with information should call 911.
