Two individuals were taken to separate hospitals with injuries that were not considered life-threatening Tuesday after a crash at Deerpass and Kishwaukee Valley roads, Marengo Fire Protection District Assistant Chief John Kimmel said.
Kimmel said the call came in about 5 p.m. When crews arrived to the intersection in unincorporated Marengo Township, one vehicle had rolled onto its roof. However, both drivers were removed from their vehicles by the time crews arrived at the scene, Kimmel said.
One victim was transferred to Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center in Harvard while the other was taken to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital.
Kimmel said it was believed that one of the cars had entered the intersection and was T-boned. All roads remained open during the incident, Kimmel said.
