FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Kaetlyn Jeschke, Marengo, volleyball

Jeschke shined defensively in a 25-18, 21-25, 26-24 Kishwaukee River Conference win over Woodstock North, supplying 25 digs and three aces. "[Jeschke] played her tail off," Marengo coach Meg Dobbertin said. "She was all over the place."

The senior libero has been a standout player all year for the Indians (15-7-4) and was voted as Northwest Herald Female Athlete of the Week by readers. She answered these questions from sports writer Alex Kantecki.

What are three of your favorite TV shows?

Jeschke: “Gossip Girl,” “The Bachelor” and “The 100.”
