The Cary Park District is hosting a preschool preview event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 14 at the Cary Park District Preschool, 1180 Silver Lake Road, Cary.
During the open house, visitors can meet with the teachers and receive program and registration information.
The Cary Park District Preschool strives to create a positive, sensitive, and responsive environment to help children feel valued and grow with each learning experience, Katie Hughes, spokeswoman for the park district, stated on Thursday. Through developmentally appropriate activities, the teachers work to foster physical, emotional, social and cognitive growth while promoting a lifetime love of learning.
The Cary Park District will offer the preschool program or the 2020-2021 school year at it’s new location, 100 Cary-Algonquin Road, beginning with the fall 2020 school year. The new location offers 5,600 square feet and includes five classrooms, office and work space, storage, restrooms, a parking lot and a fenced-in play yard with new playground equipment.
Programs offered for the 2020-2021 school year include morning classes for 3- to 5-year-olds. Resident registration begins Jan. 20. Non-resident registration begins on Feb. 3.
