To the Editor:

With the Jan. 22 anniversary of Roe v. Wade, I feel it necessary to reveal the truth behind some of the lies that the abortion industry has been feeding Americans.

Poll after poll shows that most American women do not support abortion.

A Newsweek poll reported that Americans who identified themselves as pro-life out numbered those who identified themselves as pro-choice, 48 percent to 47 percent.

A Gallup poll reported that 61 percent of all respondents wanted abortion to be illegal in all circumstances.

The majority of feminists today have forgotten their roots. The original feminists were pro-life.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton said: "There must be a remedy even for such a crying evil as this. But where shall it be found ... if not in the complete enfranchisement and elevation of women?"

Susan B. Anthony stated, "Sweeter even than to care for my own children has it been to bring about a better state of things for mothers so their unborn little ones could not be willed away from them."

Let's stop the lies, America.

And start making the world a better place for women and their children.
