Family sports and fitness event set for Sunday in Cary

CARY – The first Family Sports and Fitness Showcase will take place Sunday in Cary.

The Cary Grove Chamber of Commerce event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feinberg Court and Wool Street Grill’s parking lot.

It will feature free rock climbing and moonwalk for children, as well as other activities and games, some of which have small fees.

There also will be demonstrations all day of sports including kickboxing, wrestling, jazzercise and Pilates.

Bands Alex and the Allstars, Tin Pan Alley and Nelligan Band are slated to perform, and there will be an outdoor food and beer garden at Wool Street Grill.
