Blood drives

Following is a list of places to give blood. Donors should be 17 or older or 16 with a parent’s consent, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health.

Kane County

• Noon to 4 p.m. Friday – Delnor Community Hospital, 300 Randall Road, Geneva. Each donor will receive a heartland grill tool set. Walk-ins welcome. Appointments and information: Amber, 630-208-3948 or e-mail: amber.beu@delnor.com.

McHenry County

• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today – Cary Physical Therapy, 2615 Three Oaks Road, Suite 1A, Cary. Walk-ins welcome. Appointments: Ann, 847-516-8095, ext. 18.

• 3 to 7 p.m. today – Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Fire Department, 1020 W. Algonquin Road, Lake in the Hills. All donors will receive a gift card for a free quart of Oberweis ice cream. Appointments: 847-658-8233.

• 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday – Filtertek, Inc., 11411 Price Road, Hebron. All donors will receive a coupon for a free pint of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Appointments: Fonda, 815-648-1013.

• 7 a.m. to noon Saturday – Hosanna Lutheran Church, 36W925 Red Gate Road, St. Charles. Each donor will receive a $11 Oberweis gift card. Appointments: Susan, 847-551-2819.

• 1:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday – Rohm and Haas, 5005 Barnard Mill Road, Ringwood. All donors will receive a gift card for a free quart of Oberweis ice cream. Appointments: Lynn Bauer, 815-653-2411, ext. 4581.
