Cary trash rates to increase Monday
CARY – Starting Monday, trash collection rates will increase in Cary.
The rate increase is part of the five-year contract the Village Board approved last year with Groot Industries Inc.
The monthly rate for a 95-gallon trash container will increase from $20.25 to $21. The rate for a 35-gallon container will increase from $15 to $15.75 a month. Yard waste and refuse bag rates will increase 10 cents each, with the final cost $2.60 and $3.85, respectively.
