Daddy daughter dance aids poms Saturday

CARY – Tickets are on sale for the annual Cary-Grove High School Pom Squad Daddy Daughter Dance, scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Held at the high school at 2208 Three Oaks Road, Cary, the dance traditionally attracts hundreds of girls from preschool to eighth grade to share a special evening with their fathers, event organizers said.

The cost is $20 a dad in advance.

Tickets will be available at the door for $25.

This year’s dance is a Buccaneer Bash and includes a disc jockey, dancing, refreshments and a surprise gift for each daughter.

The school’s front entrance will be transformed into a pirate ship and island.

Personalized photos will be available for each girl and her father for $5 each.

The dance is a chief fundraiser for the high school pom squad.

To register, visit the Cary-Grove High School Web site at www.d155.org/cg.

Registration forms can be found under athletics/poms.
