Firefighters tackle blaze in Richmond

By NORTHWEST HERALD

RICHMOND – Firefighters from several area departments responded about noon today to a residential fire at 10102 Main St. in Richmond.

It did not appear anyone had been injured in the fire at the house, which appeared to be divided into rental units.

Rescue workers shut down Route 12 from Hill Road to Route 173 as they worked to douse the fire. By 1:25 p.m., emergency scanner reports indicated the highway was being reopened and fire crews were beginning to clear the scene. Check back with NWHerald.com for more details later.
