Candidate in McHenry

To the Editor:

My name is Craig Adams and I am a Republican candidate for the office of McHenry Township trustee in the primary election being held Feb. 24.

I would like to present my qualifications for the position of McHenry Township trustee.  I am not new to township government. I previously served in the position of trustee from 1998-05. Upon my leaving the township board in 2005, I was the Senior McHenry Township Trustee. During my tenure on the McHenry Township board, I completed all of the recommended educational training for this position by attending the Township Officials of Illinois educational seminars.

I also possess the formal educational qualifications to best represent the residents of McHenry Township for this office. I hold a B.S. degree from Quincy University and a MBA degree from Aurora University. Lastly, I have more than 27 years of business experience in budgeting and project management in my position as a marketing professional at Pioneer Center for Human Services.

I would humbly ask the voters to evaluate my qualifications for the position of McHenry Township Trustee and cast a vote for me in the primary Feb. 24.
