D-158 school board candidates to take part in forum next week

HUNTLEY – District 158 school board candidates will discuss school issues during a public forum March 18.
The Huntley Education Association will host a “Meet the Candidates” night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Conley Elementary School gymnasium, 750 Academic Drive, Algonquin.
Community members will have the opportunity to learn more about the school board candidates and their positions on issues affecting the school district.
Five school board seats are open for the
April 7 general election.
School board members Mike Skala and Larry Snow will compete for one two-year seat. School board members Shawn Green and Kim Skaja and candidates Don Drzal and Paul Troy each will run an uncontested race for four four-year seats.
