Smith defeats
O’Hara in Lakewood
LAKEWOOD – Erin Smith defeated John O’Hara in the race for Lakewood president.
Smith, a 43-year-old Motorola executive, received 434 votes, according to unofficial vote totals. Her only opponent, O’Hara, received 268 votes.
Smith served as a Lakewood trustee from 2003 to 2006 and was a member of the Lakewood Planning and Zoning Committee. She has an MBA from Northwestern University.
