Bartman, Brackmann win Ward 2 seats
MARENGO – Carole Bartman and Corey Brackmann both won alderman seats Tuesday night for Ward 2 in Marengo.
Bartman garnered 255 votes for the two-year seat, and challenger David Bauman received 137 votes, according to unofficial results. Bartman was an incumbent appointed in May to the City Council to fill a vacancy.
Brackmann received 304 votes for the four-year seat to candidate Lawrence Creamer’s 88 votes.
