Weihofen wins race

LAKEMOOR – Newcomer Ryan Weihofen won the Lakemoor village president race Tuesday by 179 votes.

With a total of 393 votes, he beat Robert Koehl, who had 214 votes, and Ralph Brindise, who had 116 votes, according to unofficial results. Koehl and Brindise both are sitting trustees, and Weihofen is new to village government.

Village residents also voted for three uncontested trustee positions. According to unofficial results, Kimberly Beach got 497 votes, Colin McIntyre got 405 votes, and Phil Lonigro got 357 votes.
