Three incumbents elected in Hebron

HEBRON – Three incumbents emerged victorious from a crowded field of candidates seeking election to the Hebron Village Board.

In unofficial returns with both precincts reporting, incumbent trustee Matt Appner was the top vote-getter with 125. Fellow incumbents Susan Ritzert and James Kastner also were re-elected with 113 and 111 votes, respectively.

The top three were elected to the board.

Challenger Jerry Bough, who had served as chairman of Hebron’s Planning and Zoning Committee, fell just short of being elected, with 106 votes. Rounding out the field was Dave Heber, who received 98 votes, and Michael Stecher, who received 29 votes. Frank Beatty was uncontested in his race for village president.
